There are no unusual disturbances, and you can enjoy your own space. The administration organizes entertainment events for students living away from home. The only downside is the heating system, which is inadequate, especially for students from warmer areas during cold winters. Nevertheless, I consider it the most peaceful student accommodation in Aberdeen.

Farmers Hall Lodge Biography
Farmers Hall Lodge is located in the heart of Aberdeen and within easy reach of everything you could need. The University of Aberdeen Foresterhill campus is a twenty-five-minute walk away and the University of Aberdeen main Campus as well as Robert Gordon University are also nearby. If you are a sports student, you can reach the University of Aberdeen’s Sports Village within a ten-minute bus ride or a thirty-minute walk.
To ensure your stay is as convenient and comfortable as possible the residence is equipped with on-site parking for an additional fee, free bike storage, a laundrette and Wi-Fi. There are no hidden costs as all bills and content insurance are included in the rental price. For an added sense of security, there are secure door entry systems, CCTV cameras and 24/7 security.
If you are looking to stay with friends, you can choose to stay in a non-ensuite or en-suite room as both room options have shared kitchen and dining facilities. A excellent hall to live in except they have regulated heating, which goes against the benefits of being in an all inclusive student accommodation, while the majority of other student accommodation does not regulate heating and tends to attract more students.

Our system is designed with energy efficiency in mind, set at 18 degrees as a base with a boost to 26 degrees when needed. This approach is in line with many other student accommodations where bills are included. However, to ensure responsible energy usage and to avoid heating rooms unnecessarily when students aren't present, we do implement regulation. We appreciate your understanding and feedback! Price is too high for the room size. Again their 9 months compounded contract is a hell. Once you move out even in extenuating circumstances they still require you to pay all the rent bills. And if you've made full payment already in such circumstances you get not even a pound refund. That's bad faith and purely unrealistic. This I wouldn't recommend for and student with average budget.

Considering how much rent I pay monthly, I expect to have a working shower and fridge, yet these two things were so unreliable throughout my entire stay. My fridge/ freezer defrosted several times, meaning I had to throw out food that had defrosted/ spoiled and repurchase these things, putting me at a financial loss through no fault of my own. I complained about the fridge freezer several times, and instead of replacing it, it is just ‘fixed’ but then it breaks within a matter of weeks again. My shower is only warm half of the times that I use it, and I frequently have to have freezing cold showers which is awful. My room is always so cold, to the point I had to purchase a space heater because my chronic asthma was flaring up due to the cold, this heater was then confiscated and I am now shivering in my room everyday. My room has mould growing and is always damp despite leaving my bathroom fan on almost constantly, and with a mould allergy this is making me very ill

I spent my happiest days in this apartment, coming to the UK as an international student to start studying and living, the receptionist Zhanna gave me great help. All aspects of the apartment support work is excellent. Cheap price and fast service.

I like my room, I like my bathroom, I like the kitchen, staff are nice. The heating sucks though, but that’s about it.

With Every Student, it’s very affordable for what it is. I have a flat with an ensuite bathroom and a shared kitchen for the floor. When I first arrived, I was given a tour and greeted by Zhanna, who works at reception. She is so kind and does a great job! The staff here are all incredibly sweet and make you feel very well welcomed. Upon arrival my room was not very clean and neither was the kitchen. I deep cleaned the entirety before settling in which was inconvenient considering I had just got off a 13 hour flight. But the location is great as it is a short walk to uni and Union Street which has a lot of places to go to. The wifi works very well. The heating was replaced to be more sustainable but does not work as effectively to heat the room. I was told there would be someone to clean the kitchen every week which is not correct as no one has come in to clean for the entirety of my living here. All in all, it’s a good place for students to live, I do recommend it.

Due to unforeseen circumstances during the preparation of flats for check-in, our cleaning schedule fell behind, with bedrooms taking priority over kitchens, however, our cleaning team has since rectified this by performing a deep clean of all the kitchens. We deeply apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. We have since had a washup meeting with our cleaning contractor and already have a robust plan in place for next year, to ensure this doesn’t happen again. We understand that this was not an ideal way to begin your stay, especially after a long flight, and we regret any discomfort this may have caused. We are thrilled to hear your positive comments about Zhanna and the rest of our staff. We strive to provide a welcoming and accommodating environment for all our residents, and it is wonderful to know that their efforts have made a positive impact during your stay. Regarding the heating, we have recently replaced the heating systems with energy-saving heaters to support our sustainability efforts. We appreciate your understanding as we continue to improve our sustainability efforts while ensuring a cozy living environment for everyone. We would like to clarify that kitchen cleans are offered once a month as we expect tenants to keep communal areas in the flat clean. Every Student Farmers Hall Lodge. The wifi speed is incredible. The location is amazing because of how quiet it is, it is not next to the city centre so it is peaceful. Cleaning services are fantastic.

The cheapest one yet in Aberdeen, with everything you need! The management is also nice and easy to discuss with. Its near to the medical school as well so most of medical and health sciences students will find it comfortable to walk back and forth to the school.

Very good value. Nice and quiet!!!!! Amazing location, ten mins walk from all the clubs, 30 mins walk from the uni. But for getting stuff fixed eg broken oven… awful.

Farmers hall is in a good location only 10 minute walk to union street where you are able to Beth the bus to university and different places such as supermarkets. It is in a quiet area and there isn’t any trouble or noise. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The living area is big with good facilities.

Staff are nice and friendly but building is terrible, things falling apart and never get sorted, never felt clean the day I moved in the was so much dirt and grime everywhere. Would not stay here again

Farmers Hall Lodge is an awesome property to be at. A wonderful value with spacious rooms and excellent showers. When you need maintenance, just file a request, and someone will come out the same day or the next. It's always a joy to converse with Manchang at reception.

Farmers Hall Lodge is a great stay. Never had to make complaints of any kind, as every thing was on point, especially through the support of staff. Hannah is really great and helped me a lot with my flat’s kitchen, we still have some products she gave us, and it is always a pleasure to have a chat! Also Manchang is very friendly and kind, always a nice experience going to reception. These guys are on top of things :)
I had absolute wonderful time during my stay here during my course. The room is comfy. The unite team here are very friendly and approachable. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking out for good place to stay at a affordable price.

Good accommodation, great value for money with big rooms and very good showers. Maintenance always available whenever you need, submit a request and will be there same day or next. Hannah always helpful and a friendly face. Recommend

I just love the place. I get a good view from my window that I could gaze all the day. Joseph and Hanna are always there for any issues they just solve it in minutes. The recent wifi updation is awesome, the wifi is very fast. My flat mates are awesome as well, we hang out in the common room and cook, eat and talk for hours . It's just awesome..
The accommodation is very good and neatly maintained. The staffs were so friendly and kind. I recently moved from one room to another, Joseph and Hanna helped me move without any hustle and they were very friendly and helpful. Definitely would recommend this place for future students
Really one of the most affordable accommodation in Aberdeen and the rooms are more than great, very spacious (en-suite). Also well located. The staff Joseph and Hannah are always there to help you with any questions, problems or just to have a chat.

The accommodation itself is comfortable and on site management, more specifically Hannah and Joseph are accommodating and friendly at all times. Joseph is frequently available for a chat or to receive any concerns. The location is quite great with easy access to essentials and Foresthill Campus.
Great place to live in, rooms are very spacious for the price and the staff are amazing! Special thanks to Joseph at reception and Hana at housekeeping for making this stay absolutely wonderful 😊

Super friendly staff and really nice place to stay. Couldn’t give 5 stars across just because of the effects of Covid-19, but really enjoyable place to live and have a good student social life (even through the pandemic)

My stay at farmers hall was pleasant. The accommodation was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly. Joy, especially, was an absolute delight. She was very helpful and no question or request was ever too silly.
I've been here for 4 years and I'm quite happy with the place. It's great value for money and the location is perfect. It's about 15-20min from the city centre in a very lively neighbourhood - there's all kinds of shops within this proximity and also public transport is within a few mins distance.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location was great and my stay was a good experience.
