By member1260886 On 11th July 21Don’t go , they give you the option to do environmental or architectural civil engineering, which is actually you just doing civil engineering with 1 module in the chosen field in second and third year. The teaching is ok but the effort to make students feel comfortable is below average. I did not enjoy the course. The practical element is awful as the facilities are not that great and there is no hands on experience. It’s more about learning the information from the exams than for actually progression. I would not recommend. For the money paid it is definitely not worth it.

Architectural Engineering, BEng Hons
By KeriArmstrong On 30th July 19My course lecturers went on strike during a vital time prior to exams, this meant that my whole course failed 2 modules as we hadn't had adequate teaching. The lecturers do try to cover the whole curriculum but due to the high volumes of students on the course, it's very hard to get any questions answered or keep on track with where everyone else is at (we are all at very different stages in first year).
