French and Japanese, BA Hons
By member567461 On 21st March 22The course is amazing. Not only do you get to learn the languages but go abroad as well. My personal tutor always made sure everything was okay whenever we had a meeting. The course itself is combined with language and culture/history modules. Language modules are brilliant, culture ones are good but sometimes focus too much on history. With regards to teaching, it's great to the extent it can go. You have to do a good amount of independent work alongside your lectures and seminars. You have many career opportunities after graduation in a lot of sectors too, not just teaching and translation. You could go into advertising, journalism, tourism, marketing, HR-related jobs, etc.
