By member538339 On 22nd May 19Disappointing and only in year 1. Textiles considering you will be up against other unis for jobs or design challenges is very lame and input is weak, Teacher ( only onnthe cap course) does not have enough knowledge in my opinion and it needs a positive, encouraging teacher. Structure and course syllabus is weak you would get more teaching a knowledge from 6 form. Graphics is excellent. However, when you are in year 1 notice their main focus is on year 3 when their focus should be on all students . Afterall we are all paying for this degree. Peer marking seems to be a good excuse so they can focus on year 3 then just put amark on your project and it is led by what the peers say instead of the teacher. In fact in a year I have barely learnt much I did not already know especially in Textiles. I would not study hear well not if you are interested in Textiles unless you do Textiles with interiors this degree is full proof and definetly organised and has a excellent teacher.
Very disappointed with the way the course works for me and I can't change it also the tutors made me feel not welcome.
