Arts and Event Management, BA Hons

Excellent course, teaching is superb. Very easy to get hold of tutors if you need some extra support and they are always willing to take time out of their day to help you. Course content is challenging yet fun and rewarding. Each year you are given a budget to produce your own event, working with real budgets, contracts, it is a lot of pressure, especially in your final year when the events are usually very large and there is a lot of money at stake, but it helps you get a real sense of the working world and events industry. Some subjects can be quite bland, but it is the bland subjects that have helped me the most, including business planning, financing and contracts. Everything you learn is relevant and helpful. In first year you learn a lot you may already know, but it is to prep you for your second and final year.

Within the first two months of studying on this course, I have already worked alongside a professional producer to put on an event that sold out. Need I say more?
