This is one of the worst university to study in, if you are an ethnic minority and particularly an international student. I did my undergraduate and master degree in the UK, and found the quality of education top notch. However, to my naivety, I unfortunately choose this university to undertake one of their professional doctorate's. As an ethnic minority and an international student, they wasted three years of my life, took away 28,000 pounds of me, made me slog to do free labour for the NHS, I worked on my research and the taught modules. They did not give me the credit or recognition for the clinical hours to the NHS, did not gave me recognition for the research undertaken and did not fully credit for the credits I earned on the taught components which is violating my basic human right. To add to the insult and exploitation, they refused me to attend the graduation. I have reported them to the human rights commission.

When paying almost £90 per lecture due to having two days of teaching a week, you expect lecturers not to read off a powerpoint slide amde 4 years prior. Unfortunately this happened frequently over my 3 years here with only a handful of really amazing lecturers.
