3 Tourism, transport & travel reviews at University of Winchester
Just finished first year. Enjoyed most of the content in the course. Lecturers were hit and miss. Some great but others seemed to not get along so modules that were taught by 2 lecturers could get very confusing as they constantly contradicted each-other. Kind of felt like we were supposed to know what was expected from us and the level of work required. Told we should prepare if we want to do placement in third year but not given any information on what our options were. Some modules were really interesting but others seemed random and more of a ‘uni life skills’ class than part of the course. The course is made up of practical and coursework elements which means we had no exams, however there is talk of including them in the future. A lot of presentations were required in the first year. The course constantly send out notifications for different job prospects and work experience but most seemed aimed at graduates and isn’t tailored for students at different levels.
