Being an archaeology student is so cool!

The course is good but needs to grow. The small lecturer team has meant that their time is occupied by too many classes causing course cancellations and limited module choices. If there were more we wouldn’t have this problem.

Very samey, the modules never really got exciting. Archaeology lectures were painfully boring.
Archaeology and Theology, Religion & Ethics, BA HonsBy member1339299 On 12th June 19
I didn’t feel that my personal tutor tried to get to know me, she didn’t try to see me on more than one attempt. The course leaders didn’t seem too bothered if you didn’t turn up.

Overall the course is very good. There are some weaker moments, but equally there are amazing points too.

The course is good but the head of classical studies, is very hostile and unpleasant person for a lot of people.

The lecturers are friendly and helpful as are departmental staff

Mismanaged archaeological trips with egotistical hosts. They mostly know go to further their academic career, and it isn't about teaching the next generation. Logistics is poorly handled, coursework is a mess and should be reevaluated
