5 Physical geography & environmental science reviews at UWE Bristol
Geography, BSc Hons
I think that all university education is over priced. I chose this university for the modules and staff therefore has to leave Northern Ireland where fees are reduced. I think that all the staff in my department love what they do which means the students also become enthusiastic about what they are learning. The personal tutors are fantastic. I have met with mine twice already in the first semester and have talked over academic topics as well as how I am devolving personally and socially. To link this to job prospects, at every meeting we discuss career possibilities and how to go about getting to the end goal. The course content is good but I feel on a subject like geography everyone wants different things. I personally really enjoy this course as it focuses on what I would like to do with my degree.
Geography, BSc Hons
Geology is brilliant because it's very employable and very interesting. I will end up with a decent job (hopefully) at the end of it. UWE has great contacts with companies for placements and undergrads
Environmental Resource Management, BSc Hons

Very good course with great lecturers.
Geography, BSc Hons
3 stars for value for money, as I don't think 12 hours of teaching per week is worth 9 grand. Most of our lectures are in groups of 60 plus, but I think that's because I'm a first year. Course content - I find it really interesting, and the lecturers are mostly very good at teaching. (I do BA) You see your tutor once a term, but this can be more if you have any issues, etc.
