Lecturers would be absent, course !leader was barely coherent (couldn't speak English!) IT facilities were laughable ... pretty soon other students would give up cause - what is left to say?
I understand that Sport Science and Nursing are well regarded departments, but Psychology department is an embarrassment
Going through the motions best describes this course. The teachers don't care about you or your degree and only work there because they have to for money. They are the least passionate people I have ever met. And apart for my tutor David Reynolds, everyone is useless, unhelpful and don't respond to emails. Dissertation choice is the worst as you pick 5 studies out of maybe 40, most of which have little research around them and make for a poor dissertation choice and you can't pick a preference of those 5 so you just have to hope you get the one you want. Even if you do get the one you want, you'll probably not do well because Uni doesn't even have up to date free software to carry them out with and your dissertation leader will be about as helpful as a spooked rabbit desperately trying to avoid you.
If I could go back in time and pick another uni, I wouldn't even consider going back here.
I love my course I really enjoy the subjects and how lecturers involve you in the class room. There are a lot of prospects for the course however most will require further study. I'm always supported however by my personal tutor they are always there to talk about any problems and are really supportive about how to handle it.

Overall the course has been great. The majority of tutors are absolutely wonderful. The only downside to this course has been the number of cancelled lectures and our contact ours. People from other courses often commented on how I was in university less often than them and how they'd expect me to be in more often. Placements are great and incredibly useful though!
