It’s presented as a practical course but lacks the practical freedom of other unis like York or Edinburgh

English Literature and Film, BA Hons

I'm only a first year, so from what I've done so far, I would say the curriculum of the first year course is restrictive, however it is only to learn the basics. I found the Poetry module as well as the Intro to Film and Intro to TV modules to be the most fun, a lot of it is just watching and reading stuff and it's pretty great!
