Sport And Exercise Science, BSc Hons

Sports and exercise science was a life changer for me. Before hand I didn’t exactly know what I wanted to do in life. And now, I have so many potential avenues and so much to explore. With this course, you get offered so many different opportunities and experiences and it really does help. Apart from that though, the teaching of this course is amazing, with the lecturers being very clear in the content, always being around every week for people who need help or are stuck. This course is definitely worth the money with loads of laboratories in the first year. Unfortunately, during the second year, we weren’t able to get into the labs at all which did really suck but any student who comes here in the future shouldn’t have that problem.

I really enjoy my course but it has been affected a lot by covid as you would expect, especially the coaching module. This being said, I feel all my lecturers have done their best to adapt and still make the lessons enjoyable. If you're a mature student like myself then you may feel as though you're being taught to suck eggs a lot of the first year.

I love all the lectures here at the university, such a great course. I love how you learn a little but of everything from biomechanics to psychology, paediatrics to nutrition. As you learn what you enjoy and what you are good at, you can begin to tailor your course to you.
