In the first year it feels like a waste of time, you learn things which have no use and it almost feels like you are paying 9k a year to just get through to the second year.

The curriculum covers a wide range of knowledge, as well as practical courses. The teacher is very careful and responsible.

Great content and amazing teaching staff - I've had good relationships with my academic advisor, dissertation supervisor, and other lecturers. Flexibility to choose modules in second and third year with varied and interesting topics available to study. Opportunity to switch to a placement or year abroad sandwich course, can decide as late as second year so there's no need to make a decision when applying to university.

Value for money at 1 star because nothing is worth £9,250 a year of debt plus maintenance. Teaching quality is of high standard and personal tutors are always there to give guidance when needed. The module choices are broad and offer really fun and interesting subjects to cover.

Largely enjoyable and we'll balanced. Quite a broad selection of topics with more contact hours than most unis. That being said, some lecturers have had a tendency towards bias.

The POLIS team are really great, helpful and caring. They are willing to help at evry turn and they draw on their own experiences to help you understand the subject. Every module is taught by an expert in the field and with bigger modules shared between two experts teaching different parts of the world or subject. They giver you a varied view on politics and no views are unheard or suppressed

Love the course and the content that I’m being taught.

The course doesn't prepare you for any particular career or job really and the content you will never need to know again. On the plus side it's not too hard as long as you put a bit of effort in. Therefore I would say that the course is worth it if you really want to go to loughborough and enjoy the experience but doesn't teach you or give you any practical skills
