Because of the pandemic, I haven't had the full experience of a first year student as most things have been online. Lecturers are decent, but I get a bit distracted when lectures are online (which is all my problem - the university is doing a good job). In first year you can't choose your modules which is the only reason I didn't give course content a higher score, but next year when I can pick my modules I know I'll enjoy the content a lot more. My personal tutor, who is the main point of contact if I have any issues, has been extremely approachable and helpful, which has definitely helped with my wellbeing this year. When things move back in person I'm sure that the experience will be much more enjoyable and I'll really feel like a uni student.

Geography with Economics, BSc Hons

Great, varied course which has a great balance of lectures (12-15 hours a week), independent study and of course coursework. Work stacks up towards the end of semester one but with good commitment and organisation you should be easily able to keep ahead of the last two weeks deadlines
