History and Philosophy of Science and Physics, BSc Hons
By member866888 On 4th March 22I really enjoy the course, however, there are a few issues. One such issue is that I have only met my personal tutor once during freshers and I have not heard anything since unless I email about a problem with my course. Another such issue is that as it is a joint honors, there are no tutorials for the physics side of the course. Overall though it is a good course

Theoretical Physics, MPhys Hons
By member764454 On 1st December 21My course is something I’m extremely passionate about. The content is extremely interesting, although difficult and often time consuming to understand. 90% of lecturers are incredible, with the odd exception but that will be the same anywhere. I’m very excited for my future on and after this course!

By member1249832 On 10th July 20Costing over £14000 a year in student loans/maintenance is not worth it. The course is slow, the lecturers don't provide challenges, some even turn te lectures political. I have a full first year certificate, and it hasn't helped me with anything in life so far after 2-3 years. There are zero opportunities to learn more, to get more challenges, to be pushed. It felt like being in a room full of mindless zombies, doing nothing more than what they're told. I didn't even want more credits, I just wanted my time to be filled. My tutor was very nice but didn't understand I hate being by myself and that I always need something to do and I've been working since I was 8 years old, sometimes 70+ hours a week. The course had it's interesting areas, but you were promptly stopped from researching things or looking more into things because they were too advanced or they were next year's work.
