Fun course but in covid times absolutely not worth the money but guess we get a degree at the end so that’s decent. The teaching is great in some areas and s*** in others

Geography and Geology, BSc Hons

By JonnoBell On 16th November 20

My course is actually Engineering Geology MSc but wasn’t an option. Lecturers are great and very enthusiastic about the content they teach, they’re approachable and make time to help those who need it and the course is demanding but very rewarding

The first year of the course is a great starter. It is challenging, which is good as it gets you prepared for a more demanding second and third year. The teaching staff are all very passionate and enthusiastic about what they do and research.

Course was not what I expected and it was very difficult to transition from A Levels to this course. The teaching is really good though.

Lecturers were professional at all times. Content was sufficiently challenging, and the inclusion of field trips throughout the course broke the monotony of just lecture after lecture.
