The course is so so interesting. The first year is the basics of biomedical sciences, taught alongside neuroscience, pharmacology and medical sciences which is great because you make friends from all courses! Lecturers are all good and engaging and know their topic well and a lot of the practicals are interesting, especially in second semester. You get taught a wide range of basic lab skills and how to write a laboratory report straight away, which is very useful as some people on similar courses at different universities had never written a lab report until their final year! There is a peer assisted mentoring scheme which is useful, as the second year students can help cement knowledge taught in lectures and give guidance on assignments.

Considering changing course due to it not being related to title and being mislead about prospects However many of the lecturers are brilliant
