Primary Education: Later Years, BA Hons
By ltu12345 On 20th February 20Primary Education is obviously very important to those higher up at LTU because it receives a lot of attention and the majority of people I speak to are enjoying the course.

By member1241251 On 8th August 19Everything which is taught on the course is good for SBT (school based training) preparation. The theory learnt can be seen in practice during the many placement opportunities that are given.

By BethLTU On 6th August 19Great course, with modules that make transition from starting to qualifying as smooth as possible. Excellent, high quality placements where you are supported by both university tutors in addition to in-school mentors!
Primary Education: Early Years, BA Hons
By member941101 On 6th August 19Really good supportive lecturers and generally good organisation from the university. Majority of lectures seem futile, with slides that appear to have been used multiple times, with inaccurate information and dates, due to how long the lecturers choose to use them. The course has a range of different aspects that are covered clearly, with some engaging activities. The course is easily adaptable to an individuals knowledge and ability. It’s such a shame that feedback on assignments is kept to a minimum.
Primary Education: Early Years, BA Hons
By member941111 On 6th August 19Tutors do not communicate with each other very well
Primary Education: Later Years, BA Hons
By member1041118 On 6th August 19Poor lecture content, not applicable to any assignments
Primary Education: Early Years, BA Hons
By member1041159 On 7th August 19Progress tutors are rubbish as they don’t check up on you and they are very hard to get in contact with.
Primary Education: Early Years, BA Hons
By member1241275 On 9th August 19Most lecturers deliver good quality lessons, however, there are some that are new and unsure of what they’re supposed to be teaching. Also, a lecturers who is supposed to teach the English module does not practice good English by saying things such as ‘gunna’ and ‘could of’. There needs to be regular checks on lecturers just like there is in teachers.

By member745060 On 29th January 20The course is very full on but it’s a great fun to participate and the things you will learn are eye opening
Primary Education: Early Years, BA Hons
By member941352 On 12th August 19Most of the teachers go above and beyond, fast email replies, always have good advice and guidance. Some organisation of the course could be improved

Primary Education: Early Years, BA Hons
By member744965 On 23rd January 20Placements were very organised, the structure to the course isn’t very well set out (a bit all over the place) and feel like students should be able to access More support
Primary Education: Later Years, BA Hons
By member1244981 On 24th January 20The course is good but there needs to be more tweaks so that there is more information about school based training before placement begins. The staff lecturers are great, they provide loads of information, readings, handouts and also go through anything you do not understand. With specific subjects you are able to understand them so easily due to interaction with staff and the support that you get,

By BrookeM12 On 5th May 16Some course modules can be taught with passion and understand although some modules lack relevance to the course. Also modules have been scrapped and replaced with an audit which is unfair as we have not have sufficient teaching.
