Covid-19 Response
- TEACHING MODE:
- On-campus.
- OPEN DAYS:
- On-campus open days on 2nd Jul, 16th Jul, 17th Sep & 15th Oct.
- TEACHING NOTES:
- For on-campus courses, the university expect most teaching to be in-person, with courses taught mainly in lecture theatres, labs and seminars as before the pandemic started. The university may retain some online teaching where student feedback has been especially positive about this mode of learning, but this will complement in-person teaching.

My current course is actually MSc Economics but it is not here for some reason. I studied my BSc here also. The flexibility of the BSc is great and allows you to tailor your degree to whichever career you are interested in and the careers team here is amazing at helping you start your career straight after your graduate.

By member1329771 On 21st January 18Really exciting course. Lots of scope to personalise to your interest. Very enlightening to new ideas and concepts. Great for those who have never studied either discipline before - I didn’t do economics before university and I’ve found it really easy to follow.

It's fine, Economic department and Politics and Philosophy department have no communication. Feels like 2 different degrees instead of one.

Was a really good course, quite challenging.
Economics, BSc Hons
By member1040026 On 30th June 19The quality of mathematics teaching is lower than expected however I thoroughly enjoy the course
Economics, BSc Hons
By member1239895 On 24th June 19Not particularly useful content is taught, and is taught poorly. Reading lecture slides word for word should not be worth 9k a year. Similarly, omitting information from these slides due to low attendance and telling 20 of 200 students the information they need to pass an exam is a joke. When somebody asks for help, don't respond with it's independent learning
