Uni to me is not worth £9k AND accommodation £5k for 1 year only however the experience and learning is outstanding, I don’t regret it at all but it is heavy on the bank

I am taking a foundation year for this course and I have learned a lot. It has allowed me to have a head start for when I start my degree.

I personally feel that having lectures in person would make the value for money better, but the professors still make an effort online. The personal tutors could help more

Biochemistry and Neuroscience, BSc Hons

By JustAnotherMember110 On 13th August 18

My personal tutor was absolutely horrible. He wouldn't ever help me with my problems. The neuroscience course is also studied along side of biology & biochemistry which have nothing to do with your course but it's still mandatory. In one of the classes I got called a "b****" by a professor as I told him I don't have all the equipment I needed. He said to his assistant "go see what this b**** is on about". But ahh well, he later got fired because of a personal reason (I hear it was about being with another student) but honestly I'm not surprised. I had a biology professor called Vicky (if I remember correctly) and she was honestly the best professor out the lot (even tho I was studying neuroscience and not biology) she explained every thing with ease and really helped me through the module (thank you!) But I honestly hated everything about Keele! Some love it and some hate it but I moved to a different uni and omg...it does get better!
