You would think looking at the title of the course most of your time would be spent learning about Air Transport and Logistics Management. However this is not the case.
The first year consists of six modules:
-Commercial Management (Basically Financial and Management Accounting)
-Economics & Marketing (Demand and Supply, Marketing Mix)
-Business Skills (Statistics and IT Tests)
-Transport Challenges and Issues (Mainly relating to car use)
- Principles of logistics (Basically warehousing and road logistics)
- Introduction to Air Transport (Basically Deregulation and Very Basic Aviation knowledge).
The course was very poorly structured, modules did not really interlink with one another and for the most part content was extremely boring in lectures. This was accompanied by an extremely poor module grading system and unorganised staff. Certain topics taught seemed irrelevant to the course I came to study, leaving you questioning why you paid £9250 for it. Needs drastic improvement!
