It could be so much better, Facilities are not used to their full potential. Courses seem like their budget has been squeezed to breaking point. Teaching quality has fallen dramatically year on year, it feels like when a good lecturer leaves the university panic hires someone completely inept at teaching. Feedback on assignments, particularly automotive engineering design, is very poor. My placement year has been the best and most useful year of my university experience. I would not recommend this course.

£9000 a year for lecturers to struggle to operate PowerPoint presentations and also struggle to turn on light switches.

I find the modules to be very hit and miss. Some modules are fantastically taught and contain a lot of extremely fascinating content.
