Art History and Classical Studies, BA Hons
By Nicole_X On 21st April 21Our classes have a lot of interesting content and the teachers are very warm-hearted. They won't look down on you because you have a weak base. On the contrary, they treat us with tremendous respect, no matter what.
Classical Studies and English, BA Hons
By pippamoo2728 On 16th June 20Classical Studies and English Lit is the perfect combination for people with interests in both fields. I highly enjoyed the course content and was supported greatly by tutors and lecturers throughout my time at Exeter. I really recommend this course to those who don’t want to take one straight subject.

By JLeMasonry On 2nd July 15As most people know going into a degree containing English, the vast majority of time is taken up with independent research; which at times may make you wonder why you're paying so much per year. At UoE, however, the quality and content of available teaching is so above par, that you're happy to work by yourself when needed. Professors encourage good work and supply incredible resources to ensure that you constantly know exactly what you're doing. Learning an ancient language may at times seem daunting, but both Latin and Ancient Greek are approached thoughtfully and carefully to ensure the best available teaching goes in, so the best possible results come out.
