11 Nursing reviews at Edinburgh Napier University
Good course and placements are always great.
Learn a lot about what’s expected as a nurse and how to look after yourself as one
Since the majority of work we are currently doing online I’ve personally been finding it harder to get things done but once placement comes into play I will be more settled and in a routine
So far that I have enjoyed the course being 7 weeks in and the work is interesting
Nursing is a difficult course but such a fulfilling one
Love the course. The staff have done great during these unprecedented times.
Love studying here!! Amazing opportunities to learn new skills
Enjoying my course although it’s difficult to learn online
Nursing Mental Health, BN Hons

Nursing Child, BN Hons
By member832683 On 4th July 18I love my course at napier. Really enjoy the placements. The work can be very challenging but rewarding when you pass. Lecturers try their best to help.
Overall I would not recommend Napier. The skills centre is great but the class sizes are too big to learn properly. The organisation is terrible, the modules have been thrown together such that neither staff nor students understand what is expected, and there is no support. There are so many students and so few admin that placements just don't work. Luckily the NHS is so short of nurses you are pretty much guaranteed a job.
