The UK Government has now confirmed that further in-person teaching at English universities cannot start again until Monday 17 May at the earliest, as part of Step 3 of the Roadmap. Durham asks students not to come back ahead of that date or before government gives consent, unless it is essential you do so to support educational needs.
I studied chemistry and biology. The chemistry department was really well organised and I found the tutorials really useful and the labs really interesting, although some of the lecturers weren't great so I really struggled with some of the course content. The biology department wasn't so well organised but I really enjoyed the content and most the lecturers were pretty good. I didn't find the tutorials particularly useful but some of the labs were really fun.
