My personal tutor left in my first year of university and I was never given a new one. I feel that my course is not good value for money as I only have 8 hours of lectures a week. I know students on other courses who have more teaching time and trips abroad are included in their course and are paid for by their tuition fees. Therefore, I don’t agree that I should pay the same. I do not benefit from anything extra that other students don’t.
Mostly a really great course. Get along with a lot of the people on the course. We do lots of fun writing activities but also have to write academic papers and essays. One of the less demanding courses, though if can get hectic if you let yourself fall behind. Staff are friendly and very helpful. You can get shafted with later lectures (5-9PM) because it doesn't seem like the uni take Creative Writing all that seriously...
