Fashion, BA Hons
It is very difficult to put this into a short paragraph when it begins from my first day of uni, until my final year and final day of uni. For students looking to do fashion design at Coventry university, let me say DO NOT DO IT, you want to study fashion? try going abroad to parsons, or studying at Central Saint Martins, London college of fashion ORRR get an apprenticeship!!! DO NOT STUDY FASHION AT COVENTRY UNIVERSITY unless you want to fail or be miserable! THE TEACHERS are the worst I have ever seen! They show favouritism towards students, especially if those students are white, if you are black, Asian or even worse muslim, then I am so sorry, but this is not the place for you. It's full of white teachers who are racist, and hate BAME students. I have factual evidence of this, The course is not well structured at all, you do not receive any help, everything I have learnt, and other students have learn was all SELF TAUGHT. They can't be bothered to help you. WASTE OF MONEY
Fashion, BA Hons
awful just awful. the professors have no clue about organisation and are absent and difficult to get a hold of all the time, especially via email. we got stood up on 4 lessons by one of the lecturers. and everyone in the class just puts up with it and doesn't raise their voice. i feel like i'm stuck with sheeple haha. go do an apprenticeship somewhere. not worth it.
Illustration & Animation, BA Hons
DON'T EVEN BOTHER. DO NOT STUDY ILLUSTRATION & ANIMATION AT COVUNI. can't even begiin to start with how very liittle I learned on this degree. we did more wacko acting lessons than any kind of drawiing so don't waste your time. and then there's the course diirector who plays chill but is actually kind of a d**kbag.
Automotive and Transport Design, BA Hons
2nd year student paying £9,000 a year to attend a 2 hour lecture (which is not even housekeeping but basically an assembly telling what will be happening each week) enough said
Graphic Design, BA Hons
University is great but the course is brilliant. You don't get a lot within the course for your £9000, but the teaching is really good. The content is good for setting you up and get you rolling. Always there to support you.
