Context: I am an openly lesbian international student from the United States. So after some crazy life situations, I spur of the moment decided to attend this university under the guise of an American friend of mine coming with me (her visa fell through last minute). Right off the bat, when I first arrived via coach from London it was evident that the pictures online are photoshopped and filtered to an unrecognizable degree. I have said since day one that Bradford looks like the Germans stopped flying over yesterday with how dirty and falling apart most of the buildings are. But that is the city itself, so here are some of my experiences at the university: -As previously mentioned, I am an international student from the USA. The university must have just seen the "international student" part and ran with it without looking at where I am from.
