Fantastic course for anyone who's thinking of applying. The tutors are exceptional and the course units are intriguing and complex. The job prospects after the degree are typical of what you expect doing any type of English degree and you can expect to pursue a career in teaching as I have done or move into other fields like media for example. read more

The support available from the lecturers was the best part off my course as they understood the difficulties in my personal life that made university life harder for me. For me the course content was extensive and some times difficult to stay on top off. Studying 4 different courses at once and having to complete assigned reading for each (often 4 core texts plus critical and cultural writings to help understand the core texts a week), I personally struggled with this as my personal life and working life was very full at the time. The lecturers often gave me the time I needed to get caught up with the work and before the collapse in my third year grades and effort (fault off mine not the university) the first two years was were I truly flourished and that was down to the support from the lecturers and there will to push me to finish the work and get through the work each week. read more

Difficult with so many strikes with no warnings, should be refunded for lectures that were missed because of this. Overall a good course though and would recommend. read more
